Finn Furniture is an Australian furniture studio established by designer and maker Sam Clements. With a sole focus on creating beautiful and simplistic furniture, all products are designed and handcrafted in Sam’s workshop, located in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne.

Sam grew up in Tasmania where he began learning basic furniture making skills from his grandfather. Eager to learn, Sam was exposed to a range of hand tools and machinery, whilst being fortunate to also have access to the rare and exotic timbers Tasmania has to offer.

Later in life, Sam moved to Victoria to study Industrial Design Honours at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology. Focusing on furniture design throughout his studies, Sam worked for various design studios to hone in his knowledge and skills.

In 2020 Sam opened his own practice - Finn Furniture. Releasing a small product range showcasing his design style, Sam has a key focus on designing and making furniture specifically for a client. Whether this is slightly altering an existing product or designing a piece for the family home, the bespoke nature of the practice allows for every clients needs to be met. With a simplistic design style, all products are carefully handcrafted from locally sourced materials with emphasis on quality craftsmanship and the finer details.
